Earthlink is fine for DSL with the LinkSys DSL Router. The trick to
keeping your PPPoE session alive is to update the LinkSys OS to the
latest version. This allows keepalive messages to be sent and fixes
some bugs. I have a rocksolid connection that never goes down anymore
with ~1.2Mbps down and ~256Kbps up. This has been since last December
when I did the LinkSys upgrade. I have no problems with Earthlink.
