Currently I play .wma files w/ either mplayer2.exe in wine (it just
works). For asf files and other movies you can use mplayer
(http://mplayer.sourceforge.net/homepage/) works great w/ win32.dll's
infact it can play any format that your .dll's can support.

Ram is supported by www.real.com w/ a free-download-closed source
community serviced player. There is also trplayer a realaudio player for
the blind and runs in command line only.

freeamp/xmms are great for mp3s... they just work.

Konqueror, and kpdf, acroread (from acrobat), xpdf, ghostscript all
support .pdf. Infact if you use a new version of ghostscript for print
filtering all you have to do to print a .pdf is "lpr foo.pdf".

Shockwave has a plugin for netscape 4.x that works in both mozilla and
konqueror.
