We need to write a constitution and bylaws I think and have a roster of
members greater that something like 40 tech students.  We can have any
number of non tech members as well.  SGA almost NEVER (and I do mean NEVER)
provides computers for clubs but there is always a first.... 
I am on the Joint Finance Committee for SGA so let me know if there is interest
in getting money from SGA.  SGA does sponsor trips to confrences and conventions
so if there is a Linux useres group meeting in some far off destination we can
get money to pay for gas.
I am in favor of chartering but don't have the time to take the responsibility :(

PS ALUG sounds fine because then some of us might be called ALUG nut. if you are 
kind of kookie....
