No need. We meet EVERY Sunday unless Xmas day is on a Sunday. Easter has been some of our largest meetings. Put it on your calendar and you'll have an "announcement" every week, if you like.
ALE has 1700 lurkers and 25 people who are active. 10-20 of those "active" members show up on Sundays. Before we were on meetup, we had 3-5 people showing up on Sunday.
ALE works best when you personally engage.
Come and learn something.
Come and share something you've learned.
Come and hang out. When there's no Linux topics, we find others.
Since all the meetings are online now, it isn't like we're asking anyone to sit in traffic. The biggest issue is that the weather is nice most Sundays. Hard to sit inside for 2 hrs on a Sunday afternoon. The fix is to take your laptop/tablet outside and join from there. ;)
All are welcome, provided they add to the conversation.
