[ale] BPF book for Linux performance understanding?

I'm wanting to get better at Linux performance tuning, and Brendan Gregg has "BPF Performance Tools" (https://www.amazon.com/Performance-Tools-Addison-Wesley-Professional-Computing/dp/0136554822). For us book based learners, is BPF still the right path, and is this the best book for it?
