[ale] Time for this Grey Beard to stir up some stuff

I started out with a three cylinder Suzuki with three carbs and three
sets of points.
Later graduated to a v-12 Jag with four side-draft webers.
Give me electronic fuel injection and one-to-one coils any day.
Don't even get me started on BMW 2002tii mechanical fuel injection.

If only it was the Porche with twin carbs! It was a 2L Fiat 131 that
had EVERY gear head option except the fiberglass body with the roll cage
and a turbo (they were crappy and burned up). That motor didn't redline
until 9500 rpm and with the racing trans I could hit 60mph in first. Top
speed was well north of 130mph. Broken speedo cable but passed a friend
doing 120 like they were parked.

Ah. Young and invincible (i.e. foolish!).
