Now that resolutions over 1920x1080 are becoming more mainstream, and approaching the "I can afford it" range, I'm wondering if they are worth it. Anyone using one of these on a Linux system? I'll be using XFCE on openSUSE, BTW.

I had one of my monitors blow out a power supply just recently so I ran
down to a nearby store and picked up an Asus VE278Q. It replaced a
19-inch monitor. It's only 1080 and I agree going with the larger
resolutions is nicer if you have time to look but this one is quite nice
as is (of course I was in a hurry since I was down a monitor). Next
monitor will probably be one of the 2560x1440's (likely another Asus)
that will live side by side with the new one.
