[ale] way OT - used car buying tips - yea or nea

Hi guys,

It just so happens I've been shopping for a used car.  I haven't yet bought one.  However, I've already accumulated some hard knocks tips and tricks that I'm willing to share.  However, since it's so far off topic, I didn't know whether to post them here or not.  Thoughts?
