[ale] Prebuilt or assemble an off-site backup NAS box?

Valid points Chris and they make good business sense.

The issue appears to have been solved... at no cost. The client apparently
had purchased two of the NAS units and had given the other for someone to
use at home.

That unit is now being returned for actual business use. :)

Kind regards,

Here is my opinion. If you are doing this for home or for fun then by all
means build it. If this organization is relying on this solution for backup
please do them a favor and let them buy the field proven solution.

I've said it here and I'll say it again, it seems that some of you guys
value your money more than your time. If your time is that worthless burn
up hours doing this stuff for others.

$1100 may seem expensive to you but to them it could be a different story.
In this case your talking about off site backup. If something fails you may
be on the hook because of your "home grown" solution!

Don't play with their data. Play with yours.

Chris
