Here is my opinion. If you are doing this for home or for fun then by
all means build it. If this organization is relying on this solution
for backup please do them a favor and let them buy the field proven
solution.
I've said it here and I'll say it again, it seems that some of you guys
value your money more than your time. If your time is that worthless
burn up hours doing this stuff for others.
$1100 may seem expensive to you but to them it could be a different
story. In this case your talking about off site backup. If something
fails you may be on the hook because of your "home grown" solution!
Don't play with their data. Play with yours.
