[ale] .NET considered harmful

I find you to be a relatively intelligent person, but the vitriol with 
all the name calling, for one, isn't necessary, and two, pollutes the 
value of your post.

I would probably fall into our categorizations below, and yet, I'm 
pretty sure I'm not an idiot, stupid or a retard.
