[ale] ubuntu 11.04 inside vmware workstation, no reboot after FreeNX install

Friends:

I put FreeNX into a Ubuntu 11.04 instead of VNC (thanks to a lot of you for
your input)

After that I cant do a

sudo shutdown reboot

If I do that VMWare just does not reboot OR halt.

Any idea why and what I am doing wrong...............
