Is /boot in raid? Software raid is supported but hardware may require a
kernel mod.
That said, plain blinking underscore and no kernel failure data sounds like
grub puked during mbr write in install.
Use rescue on dvd and try grub unstall manually.
Or zero first mb on drives and reinstall if you can't see anaconda.log in
/root from rescue.
