ALE geek savant Charles Shapiro has a 3D printer that
he built from kit.  He even gifted me a 3/4" plastic cube
that he made with it.

He insists it is fast and has many tutorials, but last week
he was noting disappointment over some mechanical
failures that he needs to address.
