I didn't know the Bahamas had issues with their water.  When I lived in
Grenada I drank water out of the tap for several months without any ill
effects.  I won't swear to it but I think I probably drank water out of
the tap in Bermuda, St. Thomas and Puerto Rico in trips to those
locales.

PR was interesting at the time - if it weren't for all the Spanish
language you'd not have known you weren't in mainland America.   I
shopped at a mall there that looked like any you'd see here.  (Grenada
for some reason couldn't clothe someone 6'3" hence my trip to PR.)  Of
course these days even WITH the Spanish you might not know it.
