Yeah,

I was mostly thinking of Asia and India.  If you've ever been to
Taiwan as an example there are definitely more scooters than cars on
the road.  And if you throw in how badly those things pollute it
really is a huge issue for them.

NASA recently said 90% of the melting of the Himalayas is caused by
black soot pollution.  Mostly coming from India and China I believe.
I don't know if 2-cycle engines pump out black soot or not
specifically.

fyi: I assume we all know the Himalayan Glaciers melting by 2035
statement was not based on science at all.
