[ale] Mounting /home and /data with cifs on a server?

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for but it allowed me to
permanently mount a CIFS drive under my personal home folder. I found the
directions in Ubuntus documentation at:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MountWindowsSharesPermanently
