OK now your moving into the geek range. :) I do have a second router so I
guess I could play with installing tomato on the old one. Now to Andrew,
what's your definition of an arm and a leg?

I use dyndns.com too. My solution to wanting to use my own domain is
that I have home.bronosky.com as a CNAME to bronosky.homelinux.com.
which is one of their many domains. It works great. The only issue I
run into is that Comcast regularly allows me to keep my IP address for
more than 30 days. The default Linksys firmware only updates
dyndns.com when my IP changes. This allows my account at dyndns.com to
expire. Using Tomato firmware resolves this.

subdomain for free (1), and they seem to be well supported by update clients

yourname.com), they charge an arm and a leg to provide dynamic dns. I wish
they would have a low volume / low cost option.
