Hmm. Kill-o-watt tester and default OS installs on the same hardware.
Testing with basic user stuff like browse to same web site, open
document (.doc for M$ and .odf for Linux), listen to music, rip a
music CD, watch a DVD movie, etc.
That _would_ make an interesting study! Do it again with server format
methodology.
