[ale] Looking for Comparable Program

Does anyone out there remember an old DOS based program, I think it was
a lotus product, called agenda or something like that.  I'm looking for
an outliner that will work under linux.  I'm in the middle of a book
project, and I'm looking for a better way to manage the writing tasks,
etc.  This is the first time I've done this on something other than
pencil and paper.  :)
