[ale] automounted externals don't show up in 'df'

Yeah, it shows up under mount.  Further I can change directory to the
mounted file system and see the files there.

Doesn't help either:

eiger/media/usbdisk> df /media/usbdisk
Filesystem           1K-blocks      Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/sdi1                    0         0         0   -  /media/usbdisk

eiger/media/usbdisk> pwd
/media/usbdisk
eiger/media/usbdisk> ls
home.tgz            vaio-backup
hp-backup           xorg.conf
iso                 lost+found
