[ale] using iDoc

I've can mount my iPod with ease in Linux.  I'm having problems with
iDoc.  Everytime I try to sync using the iDoc I get the following in the
kernel logs:

FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sda2)
    fat_free: deleting beyond EOF (i_pos 2438439)
    File system has been set read-only
FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sda2)
    clusters badly computed (0 != 1)

The sync fails.  I'm no longer on SuSE 9.  I'm now on FC3 all updates
applied.
