>From my use of Quanta, it is NOT a WYSIWYG editor. It is a full featured HTML editor, but you do not directly edit the webpage with Quanta generating the code. You must edit the HTML, and then render the page in the built-in Konqueror to see what your changes did. In 3.1 it was moderately stable (although a bit quirky every once in a while). I have seen messages talking about integrating a WYSIWYG module into Quanta, but I do not think it has happened yet.

Quanta works pretty well, and it's integrated into Konqueror, so you
have a well developed rendering engine built right in. It's the best
WYSIWYG editor I have found.
