I just use the filter /usr/bin/fax2ps and send the output to the printer.
fax2ps is part of the libtiff package. Depending on the printer spooling
being used, a filter could be crafted to use fax2ps to send the tiff file
to the printer, converting to postscript on the fly.
If the libtif package is installed, see man fax2ps
If an all GUI interactive solution is needed then I can't be of much help
