Hey James, Thanks for the response. I will dig around on the ibm site and see if I can find the documents
you mentioned. I think it definately is incorrect dma or irq settings being detected. The sound card works
perfectly on the Windoze 2000 Pro portion of the system install.
I am going to try popping Knoppix 3.3 into the system to see if it detects it properly. if it does I am going to try to write down the settings
it used and see if I can configure the system to use them like you mentioned.
