is 'user=' a valid option for fstab? I thought it was simply 'user'
Try changing user=blahblah to 'user'
One of my nfs mount entries:
denali:/share /share nfs
exec,rsize=8192,wsize=8192,timeo=14,retrans=12,intr,user
