[ale] Question for Debian users

i keep hearing that "Sarge" (Debian's release names are based on Toy Story
character's) will have a much better install program.    another rumor is it
will startup "knoppix" style and once you do a complete system check it will
write the files to your directorys.

admittedly, i haven't had time to check into these claims personally, but i
am putting together a system in order to run "Sid" to see what new things
they're coming up with.

as is, my "stable" system (currently Woody) is working without _any_ trouble
and i see no reason for it to change.
