[ale] totem/vanity webcam app

Hi,

Have any of you used Vanity, a webcam utility packaged with Totem,
the media viewer?  I can't seem to get it to recognize my webcam,
though gnome-meeting and xawtv recognize it just fine.  Any ideas?
