Anyone on here actually undergone a BSA audit? My understanding is
that those sent out are likely to be clueless flunkies who only know
enough to stick a floppy in the machine and run an audit program off of
it. They're likely to be really confused by a Linux machine that won't
run Windows programs. I believe I've read of cases where they've just
done a power-off reset on *nix machines when they couldn't figure out
how to run the audit program, resulting in lost data.
Alternatively, it they decide that they've found even a single license
violation, they'll insist that you pay for the cost of the audit.
