Remember to bring your friends and relates for the installfest, the more converts the merrier. Here is a list of the things that are available, if you can add to this list, put your name on the item and bring it with you.

The room is short on electrical outlets, I will have 2 or 3 power strips, please bring more. If someone can bring a 25 or 50 foot extension cord that would be great. If someone has a machine with a decent speed burner, please bring it so we can make copies of distros for others. As for Distros: I will have a couple copies of RH8 and 7.3, I have Mandrake 8.0, if someone has 9.0 please bring it, Debian 3.0 (I think, don't have the disks with me right now) I have Debian Progeny also, FreeBSD, SUSE (can't remember which, just received them from Linux Central) If people want to bring any old Hardware or Software to sell that is cool also. On the food and drink situation, I have not heard from Blake of ALS to let me know if there is any $$ so, let's assume there is not. I think the Pot Luck idea is great. As for alcohol, it is allowed at the Law School as long as we don't le!
ave the place a wreck and no one gets out of control. I still say we can pool some cash and grab some wings from WingNuts down on Briarcliff. If anyone has anything to add or ask please do so and I will answer it to the list so everyone knows what is going on.

I'm the "official keeper" of the ALS showfloor ethernet cable plus a
couple of power cords (I have a basement, and didn't say "no" fast
enough ;-). I'll be glad to bring the box of assorted length cables,
but I need to come up with a way to mark them so that I can get 'em all
back. Perhaps 3 tie-wraps on one end or something?

I also have an 8-port switch I can bring.

I have a box I threw together from spare parts that has a 40 GB drive.
I can put ISOs of installs on it, and let it serve NFS installs if you
want. It's running RH 8.0, plus a 2.4.20-pre10 kernel. It's stable
enough so far (uptime 3+ days). It would be okay if it was completly
wiped, as I have nothing important on it. Yet ;-).

Can someone give me an idea of how the NFS install directory
structure(s) should look? I currently have RH 7.2, 7.3, and 8.0 ISOs
available, and can have them set up, ready to go.

	Thanks!
