[ale] Dual Boot NT/Linux

Robert,

While not my favorite, it is possible to use the NT boot loader to boot 
Linux. You just need a copy of the Linux boot sector and edit boot.ini.  

You could use a freeware multiboot like MasterBooter.  I have used this 
product with great success after OS installs were complete.

If it's NT, the actual NT boot block can be reconstructed by a DOS 
diskette with fdisk.exe and the command: "fdisk /mbr".

And, of course, LILO can be undone with "lilo -u" from a running Linux.  
I'm not sure about grub.
