Actually, most of my cable modem experience has been that getting broadband
Internet service over cable WITHOUT getting the complementary broadband
television service only adds $10-15 to your cable modem bill. MediaOne
Express had that policy, but I don't know what AT&T does now. Charter also
had that policy back when I had cable modem service (without cable
television service) back in early 2000.

'course, I wound up reducing expenses through a combination of getting a
cheap cell phone plan, keeping my land-line and getting a $10/mo. dialup
service. The total out of all that is around $80/mo. Your needs may vary.
