[ale] .dwg files

Thanks for the suggestion. This seems to be what I'm looking for, but none of 
it will compile on my box. This was a "nice to have" but it's turning into a 
large detour. I'll see if I can work it out later. There is a Windows utility 
called Whip-n-Post that might also do the trick.
