Return receipts aren't always accurate.  Some mailers (Netscape and 
Mozilla I believe) you can tell them to not return any return receipts. 
  In my prior assignment, I had a guy call me and bitch at me for 
deleting his email with out reading.  In reality, it was filtered from 
the (Exchange) server to a folder in on my personal box.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
