Well, I was figuring that I'd have to boot from floppy and the config 
info would be retrieved from there.  I guess I could even pull the os 
and config stuff from another machine and not even need a floppy, but 
I'm not sure how secure that approach would be.

These days you can pick up 128 meg smart media, that's a thought for 
persistent info, possibly even logging info.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
