Wrong :-) I was born and raised in State College, PA.

I joined the ALE mailing list when I lived in Atlanta,
a number of years ago (maybe 1994?), but have
never had the chance to attend a meeting :-(
Moved to El Paso last summer so my wife could do a
medical internship (she's a professional midwife). We'll
probably be moving back to the Athens, GA area next
summer, so maybe I'll get to actually see y'all.

There's a lot of talent and knowledge in ALE. I see much
better discussion and assistance here than on the
comp.os.linux.* groups - and the traffic on ALE is such that
one can hope to keep up with it all. It's not surprising
that folks once exposed to ALE maintain their association
even when they move away.
