[ale] OT: Interest in Server Load Testing

Would any of you or your employers have any interest in contracting out or
subcontracting out server load testing (WWW, mail, database)? It's a line
of business we're thinking of getting into and I'm trying to characterize
the likely market.

The arrangement would go something like this: 1) customer calls us up
saying they have a server, they want to know how many users/transactions per
second or how many simultaneous users their server can take before it croaks
2) they give us the server and we work out a test plan 3) we punish the
server 4) we work up a report for the customer 5) we deposit their check
(probably a fixed fee per test).

Does anyone know if anyone else does this in town or how much per test such
a service might be worth? I've already got a pretty good handle on how to
do this kind of work, but I'm trying to gauge what level of interest in the
service there might be.
