[ale] VMware and 2.4.16?

I gave up on 2.0.X and went with the 3.X and it's working great.  I dont
think 2.4.16 works with 2.0.X either.

On a side note they kept asking me how the evaluation went so I was happy
to give feedback on the customer service, or lack there of.  Supposedly it's
being forwarded to someone who matters.
