[ale] VMware and 2.4.16?

Good morning,

   I've about given up on getting anything resembling
help from the VMware folks (long story). So, I thought
I'd try here.
   Has anyone been able to use 2.4.16 with VMware
2.0.4? In particular, how do you build a module for
2.4.16?
