[ale] Driving Cornerstone 21/76 with TNT2 Ultra or RAGE PRO under XFree86

Allo folks...  Hope all is well with you.

I recently spent about 20 hours trying to drive a Cornerstone Color 21/76
(1600x1280 at 76hz Fixed Frequency) with a CL 3d Blaster Ultra (nVidia RIVA
TNT2 Ultra) under SuSE 7.0's XFree86 (3.3.6 and 4.0) and an ATI
All-in-wonder pro (RAGE Pro) under Windows (NT4,W2k).  I'm quite technical,
I've RTFM as far as I can find it (FAQs, etc.) and even got a modeline
designed for the 21/76.  No dice so far.  At this point, I've concluded that
I need one of the following:

	1) A consultant who's configured one of these combos before.

	2) A known good 21/76.  (I've 18 of them, but none sync so far)

	3) A known good graphics card. (e.g. one that is known to drive 21/76s)

Heck, I might even be able to get by with a 21/76 (Hitachi HM-6421-D)
manual...

Can you help me out, or direct me to anyone who can?
