	Recent versions of the Quake2 executable don't check for the CD, I
think.  I don't remember the URLs offhand, but a lot of sites have the
most recent linux executable.  (try the files section at
www.bluesnews.com...it's an interface to ftp.cdrom.com, and probably has
the latest version).
