[ale] Kernel Fault help...

Hi y'all,
I know that a General Protection Fault is a BAD THING (tm), and I never
thought I'd see one in Linux, but it's happened to me 2 times now. (that I
know of)

It then proceeds to lock up my system and logs until forcibly rebooted.
Any suggestions on what's wrong with my poor machine? Is it a hardware
issue? Miscompiled Kernel?
