[ale] First Use of Samba

Nick,

I have gone into the registry of my win95 machine and set it to send clear
text. The /etc/smbpasswd file now contains my account name and its
associated password. This matches exactly to the linux account name and
password. I have uncommented the smb password file =/etc/smbpasswd. The
encrypt passwords =yes is commented out.

Any ideas?

John
