[ale] Majordomo 1.93 and ELF

I just did the SlackWare 3.0 Upgrade, and it went Great!, but now 
majordomo won't work.  It does the memory-filling-loop thing, until it 
exhausts all the memory and dies.  It worked great before I switched.  I 
tried re-compiling it, both with and without -b i486-linuxaout.  
Nothing.  Any suggestions?  Has anyone gotten it to work?
