As many of you who attended the ALE Expo know, I have been having the
dickens of a time getting a scsi zip drive to work with my adaptec 2940
scsi card. The card has a scsi-2 mini-connector on the back and the zip
drive uses the Macintosh style 25-pin connector. Well, I finally found a
place that sold me exactly the cable I needed. GIM computers up on
Hemphill sold me a six foot cable by Cables Unlimited for $36 that is
exactly what I need. I installed the drive and everything detected like I
wanted it to.

I used to recommend GIM when they first opened up but then I felt I got
ripped for too much money for a few items I purchased there. I think like
all stores, they are good for some things and bad for others.

Whatever else, they seem to be the cable kings. Keep them in mind when you
need this particular cable. I also hear that Micro center carries the cable
as well but for $10+ more.
