As a Ga.Tech grad (75/78) Unix was not a popular topic in Architecture - but
times change!! I want to learn all about Linux & set up a good web site.
I've installed it on my 486 w/20 M.ram (dual boot w/Win 95), but have yet to
find a good set of orientation classes for beginners. (I now live in
Denver). I'll volunteer to help organize some type of loosely structured
e-mail learning program (no grades, no final, no involuntary all nighters! -
ha!) & thought there ought to be some way to conduct such via the I-net,
without disrupting more experienced users. If anyone has any ideas/
suggestions, let's discuss. In the general area of Denver, Colorado Springs,
& Ft. Collins there are several other user groups, a Linux vendor, &
radio/tv programs devoted specifically to PCs, so there are many other
folks, like me, who are motivated to learn all about the personal computing
world without "the Seattle bunch". If you know of someone who would like to
participate or contribute in some way, let's talk. Carl Sherrill -
