[ale] Thoughts on PC hardware.

I forgot to mention that many computers running Linux will overheat if
really pounded (approaching 100% CPU utilization).  I discovered this by
accident running the John the Ripper password cracker, on both desktops
and laptops.  Yes, legitimately.
