Good to know.

It is IMPORTANT to note that you may NOT carry a firearm or other weapon
(including a knife) into a Federal building, including an outhouse in
a Federal park or a post office.

Be aware that Massachusetts and NY have very strict gun laws including
transporting them.  Not clear if driving THROUGH either state subjects
someone.

Never give consent for a police officer to search your vehicle.  If your
child's friend's joint fell out of his or her pocket YOU get arrested.
