[ale] OT: Can anyone recommend a KVM switch?

I must modify my recommendation.

My KVM switch apparently has failed after many years (6-10).  It was a strange
failure that caused my monitor to display intermittantly and sometimes switch
between VGA and HDMI (with nothing plugged into the HDMI) port.  So sorry I
tossed out a likely good monitor.  Oh well.  (I thought that I had tested
a separate cable between monitor and computer but I guess not.)
