I have had great luck with vultr.com
Unlike most of the cheap VM hosting options, like Digital Ocean, they will let you upload an ISO image, and do your own OS install.

Some time back I did a Google App Engine thing, and I've played with AWS a little bit. Other places like Linode and Digital Ocean have been discussed. Where are some decent places to put a small project?

In this case it's a Golang based web site for a game. No big size, and I'm looking to avoid too much cost.
